Iisko ajoi Malån MM-kisoissa kovassa seurassa yhdeksänneksi Polariksellaan. Iiskon Open-kelkka valmistui juuri ennen MM-kisaa, mutta valitettavasti päälle iski myös flunssa. Jenkki Tucker Hibbert vei MM-kultaa ja kolmoisvoiton Arctic Catille varmistivat Ruotsin Johan Lidman ja USA:n Cory Davis. Iiskon lisäksi suomalaisista kymmenen sakissa olivat Janne Jurvelin (6., Lynx) ja Jussi Honka (7., Ski-Doo) eli tämän kauden kärkikolmikko piti yllä Suomen mainetta myös MM-kisoissa.

Iisko achieved 9th place in tough competition in the Malå World Championships with his Polaris. Iisko's Open Sled was ready just for the WC's but unfortunately he also got a flue right before the race. Yankee Tucker Hibbert won the WC gold and Sweden's Johan Lidman and USA's Cory Davis secured a triple victory for Arctic Cat. In addition to Iisko, there were two Finns in the top 10: Janne Jurvelin (Lynx) was 6th and Jussi Honka (Ski-Doo) 7th -- ie. this season's national top 3 in held Finland's flag high also in the World Championships.
